Course Overview
The CompTIA A+ certification course is a preparatory course for the CompTIA A+ certification exam (EXAM CODES 220-1001 & 220-1002). It is a vendor-neutral and internationally recognized certification that covers the fundamental concepts of an entry-level IT infrastructure. An A+ certified professional know about installing, configuring, and troubleshooting common personal computer systems.
These courses will give a broad overview of computer hardware, provide detailed information into the System Board, and provide a detailed look into storage devices. CompTIA A+ Certification training course covers PC hardware and peripherals, mobile device hardware, networking, and troubleshooting hardware and network connectivity issues. It is a basic course that helps the candidate to establish their credentials in the field of IT troubleshooting and support.
A person who wants to write the A+ certification exam can pursue this course. Further, a person who wants to become a service engineer can also enroll in this course. This course is a guide with all the practical oriented concepts that are currently used in the IT environment. Thus a person looking out for a job after completing his/her studies can commit themselves to this course.
There are no specific prerequisites as the course covers all the topics in detail and basic familiarity with computers and networks is helpful. CompTIA recommends having 9-12 months of on-the-job experience before taking the A+ exam. This is recommended but not required.
